PORTLAND, Ore. – Development on Division is not over yet. Another apartment building may be on the way, located in the heart of Division’s redeveloped business district.

On Nov. 13 the city received an Early Assistance application for development on Division. The permit calls for a 27-unit apartment building to be constructed at 3021 SE Division.

Currently, a single family residence built in 1908 occupies the property, as well as a detached garage built in 1935 behind the house. Demolition of one or both would likely be required to make way for the new structure.

A property sale was recorded on Sep. 8. The sale price was $500,000.

The new owner is Blue Dart Acquisitions LLC, which lists David Aoyagi as its manager. Its registered agent is ALG Service Company. ALG’s registered agent is Ambrose Law Group, whose registered agent, in turn, is ALG Service Company.

The applicant for Early Assistance is Rob Matthews of Blue Dart Acquisitions LLC. The application is currently pending. The next step will be a meeting with various city bureaus, to determine what each will require.
