Everett Custom Homes’ “Hawthorne” Hits the Market

PORTLAND, Ore. – A house wrapping up construction by Everett Custom Homes in the Richmond neighborhood has been listed for sale.

As the Portland Chronicle previously reportedVic Remmers of Everett Custom Homes purchased the large property parcel formerly home to a church in 2013 for $1,050,000.

The property was divided into four parcels, with a house planned on each. The first, which Everett Custom Homes calls the “Hawthorne,” has finished construction and is listed for a price of $729,000.

The second new house, located on SE 32nd Ave. directly behind the first house, is not yet fully listed but anticipates a sale price of $749,000.

The prices are slightly above the predictions by the Southeast Examiner of between $600,000 and $700,000.

The listings call the houses “sustainable, energy efficient, and quality craftsmanship built to perfection,” adding that they are “right near the newest Division “D” Street hotspots.”

Two more houses are planned on the former church site, and two more after that on a parking lot across Lincoln St.

Many of Everett Custom Homes’ floor plan presets are named after Portland neighborhoods and streets.
