The lot, located on 13th between Ankeny and Ash, was purchased in April by John and Irene Lisac, registered in Clackamas. The sale price was $125,000.

The lot is located next to a house built in 1927.

In October the city received an application for a partition of the 2,500 foot lot, which is located in an R1 zone, meaning there can be one house per 1000 feet. The listed applicant was Monty Hurley of AKS Engineering & Forestry.

On November 14 the city sent out notices of the land partition, asking for written comments on the proposal. Comments must be received by December 5.

However, as the notice states and the photos show, “the attached townhouses are currently permitted for construction and construction of the new residences is underway,” suggesting that comments on the proposal will have little bearing on the outcome.

The applicant on the townhouse construction is Mark Lisac of Lisac Brothers Construction, Inc.

This development is one block south of the new UDG development on 13th and Burnside.
